In The News

The past year has been a year of diversification for Fountainhead Foodservice Group.  Although we continue to work on our usual array of collegiate venues and corporate dining facilities, we continue to broaden our reach, both in terms of the types of projects and geographical location.

As a sign of our times, we have been working on many senior living centers.  These facilities have been located in Greece, NY; Colesville, MD; Lake Worth, FL; Tulsa, OK; Springboro, OH; East Longmeadow, MA; Farmington, CT; Poughkeepsie, NY and Collegeville, PA.  We have also designed and installed two adult day care centers in Indianapolis, IN.  These should be the first of many projects with this customer.

We have been working on many Paris Baguette and Einstein’s Bagel locations.  These brands have been a nice addition to our portfolio of clients.  Paris Baguette is a rapidly expanding chain serving high quality bakery items.  We have been working closely with their development team to streamline and standardize their design and construction process.   Einstein’s is an established brand that continues to updated its locations and build new ones across the country.

Our Connecticut office has been very involved in a number of projects at both Connecticut casinos, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Resort.   The respective tribes continue to add to and renovate their locations.  Both casinos have very large food service operations with many venues.  Many of these projects will continue into 2018, including The Mohegan Sun Expo Convention Center.

We have recently completed work on Philo Ridge Farm in Charlotte, VT.  Philo Ridge features an amazing “farm to table”  restaurant, a café and a catering facility.  The space was designed by Alec Bauer of KRB Specialist with whom we have worked on several projects through the years.  Philo Ridge promises to be a true culinary destination.

Among the many collegiate dining venues that we have recently worked on are multiple venues at both Yale and Tufts, the University of New Haven, Sacred Heart College, Towson University, Worcester Polytechnic  Institute,  Duchess Community college , Lasell College and many others.  We recently completed a project at the historic Higgins House at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  We worked closely with Joe Kraskauskas  from Chartwells and the schools President to design a café that looked like it belonged in the stately building.  The Café was built for the faculty as a show of gratitude by the President.  This project was one of the most enjoyable projects that we have had the pleasure to work on.  Check out the “portfolio” section of our website for photos.
