In The News

It is hard to imagine we will celebrate our Tenth Anniversary here at Fountainhead Foodservice Group this year. We are extremely thankful to our customers and vendors who have made it possible for us to look back on ten years of success. Our relationships with clients and suppliers are the foundation upon which we have been able to build our business. We have good reason to be proud of the last ten years and we look forward to many more years of continued success and growth.

Time sure does fly by when you stay busy. We are very grateful to be closing the books on another successful year here at Fountainhead Foodservice. Looking back at 2016, we certainly did have a lot going on. We successfully completed many different projects of various sizes. We are very proud to have been included in some really exciting work.

One project we are most proud of is The Martignetti Companies new facility, used to showcase products and train their customers. The bar equipment is truly custom in every sense of the word. This completely unique bar layout was designed by nationally known mixologist and bar consultant Troy Clarke. The custom stainless under-bar components blend together seamlessly, it is like jewelry! The Martignetti Companies are New England’s leading distributor of fine wines and spirits with operations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont.

Fountainhead Foodservice also completed projects at 32 different schools around the country in 2016. Some of the most notable are the new Freshman Village at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ, the newly renovated Newell Dining Hall at Towson University, the new Lower School Cafeteria at the Trinity School in Manhattan, as well as continued work at the Tuck School at Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH.

Whether through contract feeders or property management and developers we continue to bring our expertise and experience to corporate cafeteria projects. One such project was the corporate cafeteria at the Zoetis World Headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. This cafeteria was designed by Bob Doland at Jacobs-Doland-Baer in New York City. The café was part of a brand new office building built by Haas Construction Management specifically for Zoetis. Zoetis is a subsidiary of Pfizer and is one of the world’s leading suppliers of veterinary pharmaceuticals.

In the Healthcare industry, our Connecticut office continues to work on several senior living centers. They have been working on projects in Greece, NY; Tulsa, OK and Lake Worth, FL to name a few. We have also completed projects at Children’s Hospital in Boston, UMASS Medical Center in Worcester, MA, Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA and Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, MA.

We have been fortunate enough to be involved in several hotel projects as well. Some of these hotels include the Copley Plaza in Boston, MA, The Hilton at Logan International Airport in Boston, MA, the Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables, FL and Sonesta ES Suites in Cleveland, OH.

The coming year promises to be one of strategic growth for Fountainhead. We are nurturing new business with some chain accounts growing in the U.S. market. We are working closely with these brands to help them develop their design and equipment standards. Our knowledge of the equipment options and functionality, as well as the design and construction process, should prove invaluable to these new clients. It is a very exciting and promising time for us!
